About me
Nell Brady is the director of the Rate Setting, Contract Administration, and STAC/Medicaid Units at the New York State Education Department. She oversees the Department’s contracting and procurement work, as well as the tuition rate-setting and claiming processes for approved special education providers. She joined the Department in 2011 under the Race to the Top initiative. Prior to this, Nell served as the assistant grants director at WAMC Northeast Public Radio. She also played administrative and management roles at non-profit organizations striving to inform policy and increase opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
